Carl Edwin Beck

I was born March 14, 1930 in the little town of Norwalk, Ohio.  I joined the Air Force when I was 18  and obtained my education in Engineering by attending night classes plus 2 semesters full time at Ohio State University.  I retired from the Air Force in January 1969 and took a position as Engineering Manager with Auto Trol Corp in Arvada, CO..  I left Auto Trol in 1975 to become an Instrumentation Engineer at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, Colorado.  I left NCAR in 1979 for an Engineering position at Ball Aerospace in Boulder, CO.. After several promotions I retired from a Senior Management position at Ball aerospace in April 1994.
